This advanced/ongoing program offers a positive and varied focus for talented theatre students ages 12 and up. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for higher education in magnet schools, colleges, universities, and outside theatre companies. Students will work on monologues, Broadway musical numbers, improvisation skits, and other short form performances. Participants in this program will present theatrical revues and be featured in pre-show performances, local competitions, and local events. Projects will change each month and are chosen to complement the talents of each group. It is important for young actors to have many opportunities to perform. They need to stay in training just as athletes do. This troupe offers a unique performance experience.
